Leaf Collection

Leaf Collection Guidelines:

  • Leaves are picked up on a continuing rotation with our two leaf vacuums. It is not necessary to call the Township if you have leaves out.
  • Rake leaves to curb.  Please be advised that under new Stormwater regulations adopted by NJDEP, leaves may not be placed in the roadway within 10 feet of a storm drain.
  • Please do not mix with trash or other yard debris.

Bagged Leaves:

Residents may bring bagged leaves to the Municipal Building at any time and place them in the recycling area behind the Municipal Building marked “Bagged Leaves”.  Grass clippings and brush are not accepted.

Spring Clean-Up:

For spring clean-up, there will be a one-time Spring loose-leaf pick-up during the week of April 20th.  Leaves must be raked to the curb prior to April 20th and cannot be mixed with branches or twigs.  Public Works will vacuum each street one-time only in this spring rotation.  Residents with leaves to dispose of at any other time not covered above must bring them to the Municipal Building in bags and place them next to the recycling area.

Fall Clean-Up:

Fall leaf pick up from the end of October/beginning of November through the end of December.
