Community Policing is the view that the police and citizens are co-producers of police services, and are jointly responsible for reducing crime and improving the quality of life in local neighborhoods. In order for the police and community to work together, trust must be the top priority.  The Westampton Township Police Department’s Community Policing Unit is dedicated to ensuring trust between police officers and the community by being present in neighborhoods, schools, and businesses.  We take pride in the community events we have done so far such as National Night Out, Operation Fill the Humvee for the Holidays, Coffee with a Cop, the Adopt-A-Cop Program, and Freebie Friday, and we are excited to engage further with the community at future events. Stay tuned!
