Brush collection begins the first Monday of each month--except when Monday is a holiday. The maximum amount of brush that will be chipped for each homeowner is 4 cubic yards. Branches must be 4 foot or longer and placed at the curb (not the street) in a neat manner with everything facing the same direction. Limbs cannot be mixed with trash or vines.
Branches should not be put out sooner than the weekend before the date of scheduled brush collection. Root balls, shrubs and branches shorter than 4 feet must be placed in the trash... either in bags or tied in bundles weight less than 40 pounds. They will not be picked up by the Public Works chipping crew.
If there is a problem with your chipping, it will be tagged with an orange sticker with an explanation.
