On September 18, 2017, Ordinance 12-2017 adopted the Facility Use Policy and Permit Application Procedures by reference into Chapter 172, Section 2 of the Westampton Municipal Code. The policy recognizes that Westampton municipal facilities are public property and, as such, should be available for public use. It further recognizes that unprogrammed and unregulated use of municipal failicites can result in the facilites being damaged and their users inconvenienced. There are certain costs incurred with facility maintenance that should be shared by users. This policy was adopted to set forth procedures to reserve Westampton's municipal facilities, to improve their accessibility and to provide for the safe, constructive and prolonged use of the facilities.
