Hiring Announcement:
Full Time Basic Police Officer
The Westampton Township Police Department is currently seeking applicants for the position of Full Time Basic Police Officer. We are seeking highly energetic, enthusiastic, and hard-working individuals to join our agency and serve the residents of Westampton Township.
Application Requirements at the date of application:
- Must be a New Jersey resident.
- Must be between 18 -35 years of age.
- Must possess a valid New Jersey Driver’s License.
Application Instructions:
Interested applicants should submit an updated resume, cover letter and a copy of their New Jersey driver’s license, in person or to: recruitment@wtpd.us beginning on Monday February 28th, 2022. Completed applications must be received no later than Friday April 15th, 2022, at 12:00 pm.
Initial Phase: Application and Physical Fitness Test
Initial application and Physical Fitness Test paperwork will be emailed to the applicant upon receipt of a resume, cover letter and a copy of their New Jersey driver’s license. Applications may also be picked up in person, by the applicant only at the address below. Walk -In applicants must submit the previously mentioned documents when picking up the application and Physical Fitness Test paperwork in person.

Monday-Thursday Hours: 800 am. - 3:00 pm.
Friday Hours: 800 am. - 12:00 pm
Tuesday March 15th, 2022: 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
All applicants must successfully pass all phases of the hiring process, including the Physical Fitness Test, Interview, Background Investigation, Psychological, Medical and Drug Screening Tests to be considered for the position.
